Capricorn - Summer 2005

GENERAL

It's a rare Cappy who's full of the joys of 2005 - Saturn's trudge through the remaining degrees of your opposite sign has left a lot of celestial Goats limping, but the winning post is in sight, and is represented by this planet's entry into Leo on the 18th July. Other people - their role in your life and what happens to them - play a huge part in the summer's story, and it may be that developments arising in June take the full three months to play out, thereby making mid-September a time of endings and beginnings. Two other key events of the summer take place on or near the 26th June and the 21st July.

LOVE

Saturn has probably hit you the hardest in your love life: while some have been able to tie the marital knot and put a romance on a more permanent footing others have had painful episodes to go through with a partner, or seen a relationship end, and in general the last two years have left many Capricorns feeling somewhat alone and unsupported. On 11th June, Venus arrives in the seventh house of relationships, and the message she brings is that you can find love and establish greater happiness and harmony in relationships. To this end June and July produce events, and certainly signs, that help you see where, what and in whom your future rests.

WORK AND FINANCE

While love and personal life may leave much to be desired, Jupiter's transit of the tenth house could help your career flourish and your reputation soar. At the very least, the period up until late October should be used to launch your most grandiose plans and to display your talents to full effect. June 10th, July 1st and September 1st are all dates when opportunity knocks and your ability to impress and succeed knows no bounds. Finances are still in a Neptunian haze and especially around the 12th July and 8th August the potential for monetary muddles and financial losses is high. Be confident about your abilities and brave in your professional life, but very, very cautious with money.

HOME AND LIFESTYLE

You may feel as though your style has been cramped for the past couple of years but with Saturn's departure life begins to free up, and some of those plans that have been shelved can be activated. My advice for making this summer as happy as possible would be to expand your social circle, become involved in new activities and to make your home the setting for gatherings and discussions. June is all about getting your health and fitness act together, while the full moon in Capricorn on 21st July empowers you and sets in motion a chain of events that will add to your happiness and security. From late August your horizons change, both in terms of your goals and your overall outlook.
