Scorpio - Summer 2006

GENERAL

Life is good. And if it's not, could it be that you're afraid to take a risk? Jupiter is offering you so much in the way of adventure and enrichment, but only if you're ready to take a chance and break with the past. Career and goals are the area most in need of a brave step, and developments on or near 7th and 21st August could help you make it. The summer months bring out your sunny side: your horizons are widened for personal reasons and through trips to foreign places - events on nor near the 27th July could make you particularly proud and happy. There are six months left in this peak life cycle - what are you waiting for?

LOVE

Perhaps because you've seen some success in other areas of life, you have an increased appetite for fun and pleasure, with the result that your love life is far happier - you may even be spoilt for choice. Venus will make her annual visit to your sign later in the year, so some of the big dates in your diary romance-wise are yet to come, nonetheless the summer is a terrific time for making the most of life and love: the week of 24th July is outstanding, however, August will tend to put the brakes on a relationship, either because of problems between the two of you or because of events and commitments outside the relationship.

WORK AND FINANCE

Who wants to think about work and money when the sun is out? Well, you may not relish your professional and financial responsibilities but with transits to Saturn in the most ambitious sector of your horoscope, there are decisions to be made, especially on or near the 7th, 21st and 30th August. Think long-term strategies and you won't go wrong. It will be worth taking a salary cut in order to preserve a valued position, and re-training or working with a person who/organization that you admire will pay off further down the road. Financial reward is something to look toward in 2007; for now, it's a case of patience, economy and acute judgement.

HOME AND LIFESTYLE

Neptune continues to play a big part in your domestic story, so you may find yourself veering from high hopes to disappointments, whether in relation to the family itself or plans and projects linked to property. Once again August sees the biggest developments here, and although 2006 is basically a stellar year for you, there do seem to be some hold-ups and minor set-backs to cope with here. The older generation may prove difficult to please or your time will be taken up attending to duties and responsibilities that interfere with your plans. The eclipse pattern of September augurs exciting developments in an offspring's life, or an addition to the family.
