Sagittarius - Summer 2007

GENERAL

Your life is not your own this summer: other people's needs and preferences come first and your personal desires a very poor second. Indeed, right from the end of May you should put yourself in loving-and-giving mode and forget all about asserting your rights. Not that you'll suffer too greatly. Jupiter continues its journey through your sign, offering you opportunities to expand your life horizons, which may mean lots of travel and meetings with fascinating people or you'll start new ventures that will add to your lot in the way of experience, finance and reputation. August produces the most potholes and you'll need to be very fluid with travel plans and prepared for the unexpected, especially around the time of the total lunar eclipse of the 28th.

LOVE

June brings out the Pluto in you, by which I mean your passions will be stirred, particularly if you have a 9th - 11th or 17th - 21st December birthday. The 1st, 8th and 18th June are all dates around which major events occur, whether you meet a powerful new figure, make a binding commitment or a partnership reaches crisis-point. You are not in the mood for lightweight romances; you want things to be deep and meaningful; you also need a great deal of support and empathy from a partner. While single Sagittarians stand to find such a person this year, should you be in the 42-46 year-old age-group expect the unexpected, and should a relationship be showing signs of serious wear and tear, the summer's events could push it ever nearer the edge.

WORK AND FINANCE

Autumn is the season for significant career developments, but the summer prepares the ground. It takes courage to leave a secure job and self-confidence to go in a new direction, but courage and confidence are what Jupiter is offering you. Whether rumours of change are ricocheting round the work place or you are experiencing frustration in your job, August's events and realizations need to be acted upon. Effectively, your wings have been clipped for too long: you need to fly. As far as finances go, late June is a good time to make new financial agreements but not a great period to over-extend yourself. Even if you are ready to take off, you need funds for the journey!

HOME AND LIFESTYLE

An unexpected event at the beginning of June may set in motion some major changes on the domestic front. You may be considering ways to make money out of or from home, merging households, or re-locating to a completely new area. The total lunar eclipse of the 28th August sounds a similar theme (especially for the late November Archers), but in keeping with the true Sagittarian spirit any goodbyes that must be said will soon be forgotten in the adventure of new places and the thrill of new targets for those arrows of desire. By the beginning of September Jupiter will have three months left in your sign, just a quarter of a year left to create the foundations of new enterprises, if not a whole new lifestyle.
